Paratypes: CAS, NIFI, UF, USNM, ZRC. Plus additional non-type material. •Valid as Paracanthocobitis linypha Singer & Page 2015 -- (Rameshori et al. 2021:19814 [ref. 38781], Lin et al. 2023:276 [ref. 39832]). Current status: Valid as Paracanthocobitis linypha Singer & Page 2015. Nemacheilidae. Distribution: South Asia: Irrawaddy and Sittang basins (Myanmar) and Chindwin basin (Manipur, India). Habitat: freshwater.
