Holotype: VMFC AL201MH. Paratypes: GUIC ALT-P (4), VMFC AL2049P (45). Second author AnvariFar or Anvari Far or Anvarifar. •Valid as Alburnoides tabarestanensis Mousavi-Sabet, AnvariFar & Azizi 2015 -- (Jouladeh-Roudbar et al. 2015:862 [ref. 34062], Mousavi-Sabet et al. 2015:308 [ref. 34153], Jouladeh-Roudbar et al. 2016:176 [ref. 34375] as cf. tabarestanensis on p. 176, Esmaeili et al. 2017:34 [ref. 35254], Esmaeili et al. 2018:14 [ref. 36089], Jouladeh-Roudbar et al. 2020:122 [ref. 37983], Çiçek et al. 2024:208 [ref. 40789]). Current status: Valid as Alburnoides tabarestanensis Mousavi-Sabet, AnvariFar & Azizi 2015. Leuciscidae: Leuciscinae. Distribution: Middle East: Tajan River, south-eastern Caspian Sea basin (Iran). Habitat: freshwater.
