Current status: Valid as Eigenmannia antonioi Peixoto, Dutra & Wosiacki 2015. Sternopygidae: Eigenmanniinae. Distribution: South America: Anapu River drainage, lower Amazon River basin, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
