Type catalog: Nadalin & López 2015:10 [ref. 34112]. •Valid as Crenicichla tuca Piálek, Dragová, Casciotta, Almirón & Říčan 2015 -- (Koerber et al. 2015:3 [ref. 35179], Říčan et al. 2017:7 [ref. 35070], Koerber et al. 2017:8 [ref. 35083], Koerber et al. 2017:9 [ref. 35632], Piálek et al. 2019:394 [ref. 36110], Koerber et al. 2019:10 [ref. 36736]). Current status: Valid as Crenicichla tuca Piálek, Dragová, Casciotta, Almirón & Říčan 2015. Cichlidae: Cichlinae. Distribution: South America: lower Iguazú River basin, Argentina. Habitat: freshwater.
