Holotype: ZSI/APFS/P-929. Paratypes: ZSI/APFS/P-930 (4). Figures missing in original article; they appeared in an Erratum, Zootaxa 4111 (no. 5):598-600, on 18 May 2016. Distribution: South Asia: Siang River drainage, Brahmaputra River basin, Arunachal Pradesh, northeastern India and Tibet, China. Habitat: freshwater.
