Paratypes: BPBM. •Valid as Pempheris tiran Randall & Victor 2015 -- (Golani & Fricke 2018:106 [ref. 36273], Randall & Victor 2022:115 [ref. 39910]). Current status: Valid as Pempheris tiran Randall & Victor 2015. Pempheridae. Distribution: Northern Red Sea endemic. Habitat: marine.
