Not an independent description, but a misidentification confused with Poecilia reticulata Peters 1859, therefore not available. Type locality very uncertain. •Valid as Phalloceros reticulatus (Köhler 1906) -- (Huber 2019:90 [ref. 36941]). •In the synonymy of Phalloceros harpagos Lucinda 2008.
