Holotype (unique): ZMMU 23819. Might be based on a juvenile of a species of the genus Oxymetopon Bleeker (D. F. Hoese in Gill et al. 2017:379 [ref. 35670]). •Valid as Navigobius khanhoa Prokofiev 2016 -- (Gill et al. 2017:379 [ref. 35670], Prokofiev 2020:112 [116] [ref. 37916]). Current status: Uncertain as Navigobius khanhoa Prokofiev 2016. Microdesmidae: Ptereleotrinae. Distribution: Western Pacific: South China Sea (Vietnam). Habitat: marine.
