senegalensis, Atherina Cadenat [J.] & Delais [M.] 1962:2, Figs. 1-4 [ ref. 35068] Collected between algae near the beach of Joal, about 50 miles south of Dakar, Senegal. Syntypes: 20 specimens, whereabouts unknown. A missed species, brought to our attention by Libert Francois, Jan. 20, 2001. This reference apparently was not published in "Bulletin de l'Institut Français d'Afrique Noire (Sér A) Sciences Naturelles" as with other publications. Appeared as "Publications des scientifiques d'IRD." Figures not included. Available publication? •Status uncertain, possibly a synonym of Atherina presbyter Cuvier 1829. Atherinidae: Atherininae.
