Current status: Valid as Chondrostoma ceyhanense Küçük, Turan, Güçlü, Mutlu & Çiftci 2017. Leuciscidae: Leuciscinae. Distribution: Asia Minor: Ceyhan, Seyhan and Berdan River basins (Mediterranean tributaries) (Turkey). Habitat: freshwater.
