Holotype: SAIAB 203792. Paratypes: MRAC, SAIAB. •Valid as Pseudobarbus swartzi Chakona & Skelton 2017 -- (Skelton et al. 2018:16 [ref. 35835]). Current status: Valid as Pseudobarbus swartzi Chakona & Skelton 2017. Cyprinidae: Smiliogastrinae. Distribution: Southern Africa. Habitat: freshwater.
