Current status: Valid as Macrhybopsis pallida Gilbert & Mayden 2017. Leuciscidae: Pogonichthyinae. Distribution: Eastern North America: southeastern Alabama and western panhandle of Florida (U.S.A.). Habitat: freshwater.
