[A.] in Villa-Navarro, Acero P. & Cala 2017:350, Fig. 12 [Zootaxa 4299 (no. 3); ref. 35495] Puerto Caracolí, río Magdalena, Honda, Tolima, Colombia, 05°14'06"N, 74°49'04"W. Holotype: CZUT-IC 8525. Paratypes: AMNH, ANSP, CZUT-IC, FMNH, IAVHP; ICNMHN 11733 (3), 11543 (17); IMCN, USNM. Plus non-type material. Type catalog: Mojica & Agudelo-Zamora 2018:49 [ref. 36127]. •Valid as Pimelodus yuma Villa-Navarro & Acero P. 2017 -- (DoNascimiento et al. 2017:94 [ref. 35633], Martínez et al. 2022:3 [ref. 39275], Joya et al. 2023:8 [ref. 40237], Filho et al. 2024:4 [ref. 40919]). Current status: Valid as Pimelodus yuma Villa-Navarro & Acero P. 2017. Pimelodidae. Distribution: South America: Cauca, Magdalena and Sinú River drainages (Colombia). Habitat: freshwater.
