Holotype: QM I.40669. Paratype: BPBM. •Valid as Parapercis caudopellucida Johnson & Motomura 2017 -- (Psomadakis et al. 2020:539 [ref. 37272], Allen et al. 2024:1301 [ref. 40796]). Current status: Valid as Parapercis caudopellucida Johnson & Motomura 2017. Pinguipedidae. Distribution: Northeastern Indian Ocean: Myanmar endemic. Habitat: marine.
