Holotype: MHNG 2768.058. Paratypes: CMK, ZRC. •Valid as Lepidocephalichthys eleios Kottelat 2017. Current status: Valid as Lepidocephalichthys eleios Kottelat 2017. Cobitidae. Distribution: Lake Indawgyi basin, Irrawaddy River drainage, Kachin, Myanmar. Habitat: freshwater.
