Current status: Valid as Pseudojuloides splendens Victor 2017. Labridae: Julidinae. Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean, western Pacific: Bali (Indonesia) east to Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and Samoa, north to southern Japan, south to northern Australia and Lord Howe Island (Australia). IUCN (2025): Not Assessed. Habitat: marine.
