Holotype: MCZ 50439. Paratype: MRAC. •Valid as Distichodus ingae Moelants & Snoeks 2018 -- (Abwe et al. 2019:93 [ref. 36905], Musschoot 2024:336 [ref. 40817]). Current status: Valid as Distichodus ingae Moelants & Snoeks 2018. Distichodontidae. Distribution: Africa: lower Congo basin, Democratic Republic of Congo. Habitat: freshwater.
