Paratypes: NMMBP, OMNH, USNM. •Valid as Dysommina orientalis Tighe, Ho & Hatooka 2018 -- (Ho et al. 2018:15 [ref. 36050], Prokofiev 2019:322 [ref. 36804], Vo et al. 2024:7 [ref. 40748], Tighe et al. 2024:52 [ref. 41546]). Current status: Valid as Dysommina orientalis Tighe, Ho & Hatooka 2018. Synaphobranchidae: Ilyophinae. Distribution: Western Pacific: South China Sea, off Vietnam, Taiwan and Dongsha Islands, and Suruga Bay, Japan. Habitat: marine.
