Holotype: ZFMK ICH-104105. Paratype: KIZ 2015005363 (1). •Valid as Pseudorhinogobius ngutinhoceps (Endruweit 2018) -- (Endruweit 2024:141 [ref. 41040]). •Valid as Rhinogobius ngutinhoceps Endruweit 2018. Current status: Valid as Rhinogobius ngutinhoceps Endruweit 2018. Oxudercidae: Gobionellinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: upper Nam Na River drainage, Red River basin, Lai Chau Province, northwestern Vietnam. Habitat: freshwater.
