Paratypes: AMS, CSIRO, NMV, WAM. Plus additional non-type material. •Valid as Halicmetus westraliensis Ho & Last 2018. Current status: Valid as Halicmetus westraliensis Ho & Last 2018. Ogcocephalidae. Distribution: West coast of Australia. Habitat: marine.
