tibetana, Exostoma Gong [Z.], Lin [P.-C.], Liu [F.] & Liu [H.-Z.] 2018:394, Figs. 1-2 [Zootaxa 4527 (no. 3); ref. 36346] Mountain stream flowing into the Yarlung Tsangpo River, Didong Village, Beibeng Town, Motuo County, Tibet Autonomous Region, China, 29°12'49"N, 95°15'26"E, elevation 697 meters. Holotype: IHB 20161046. Paratypes: IHB. Combined with a neuter genus, the adjective should be tibetanum. •Valid as Exostoma tibetanum Gong, Lin, Liu & Liu 2018 -- (Luo & Chen 2020:108 [ref. 37596] as tibetana, Arunkumar 2020:295 [ref. 37782] as tibetana, Singh et al. 2022:169 [ref. 39818], Chen et al. 2024:25 [ref. 40901]). Current status: Valid as Exostoma tibetanum Gong, Lin, Liu & Liu 2018. Sisoridae: Glyptosterninae. Distribution: South Asia: Yarlung Tsangpo River drainage, upper Brahmaputra River basin, southeastern Tibet, China. Habitat: freshwater.
