gabonensis, Apletodon Fricke [R.] & Wirtz [P.] 2018:2, Figs. 1-3 [Arquipélago, Life and Marine Sciences v. 36; ref. 36380] Commune d'Akanda, 2.4 km southwest of Cap Esterias, 28 km north-northwest of Libreville, Gabon, eastern Atlantic Ocean, 0°35.641'N, 9°18.431'E, depth 1-2 meters. Holotype: ZSM 47025. Paratypes: HUJ, ZSM. •Valid as Apletodon gabonensis Fricke & Wirtz 2018 -- (Fermon et al. 2022:273 [ref. 39448]). Current status: Valid as Apletodon gabonensis Fricke & Wirtz 2018. Gobiesocidae: Lepadogastrinae. Distribution: Eastern Atlantic Ocean: Gabon endemic. Habitat: marine.
