Holotype: MRAC 79-007-P-172. Paratypes: MRAC. •Valid as Nothobranchius kwalensis Costa 2019. Current status: Valid as Nothobranchius kwalensis Costa 2019. Nothobranchiidae. Distribution: Ramisi River basin, southeast Kenya. Habitat: freshwater.
