Combined with the feminine genus Alosa, the adjective should have been baltica. •Synonym of Alosa fallax (Lacepède 1803), but a valid subspecies baltica -- (Dyldin et al. 2020:80, 110 [ref. 37569]). •Valid as Alosa baltica Kukuev & Orlov 2018 -- (Dyldin et al. 2022:[13] [ref. 39193]). Current status: Valid as Alosa baltica Kukuev & Orlov 2018. Alosidae. Distribution: Baltic Sea. Habitat: brackish, marine.
