Holotype: ASIZB-204714. Paratypes: ASIZB. •Valid as Schizothorax puncticulatus Zhang, Zhao & Niu 2019 -- (Guo 2021:427 [ref. 38617]). Current status: Valid as Schizothorax puncticulatus Zhang, Zhao & Niu 2019. Cyprinidae: Schizothoracinae. Distribution: Jinsha-Jiang River drainage, upper Yangtze River basin, China. Habitat: freshwater.
