C.] in Uiblein, Gledhill, Pavlov, Hoang & Shaheen 2019:168, Figs. 7A-C [Zootaxa 4683 (no. 2); ref. 37008] Great Barrier Reef, north of Rockingham Bay, Queensland, northeast Australia, 17°38.57'S, 146°22.79'E, depth 26 meters. Holotype: CSIRO H 6717-02. Paratypes: AMS, CSIRO, QM. Plus additional non-type material. •Valid as Upeneus caudofasciatus Uiblein & Gledhill 2019 -- (Echreshavi et al. 2022:15 [ref. 39234]). Current status: Valid as Upeneus caudofasciatus Uiblein & Gledhill 2019. Mullidae. Distribution: Southwestern Pacific: Great Barrier Reef (Queensland, Australia) endemic. Habitat: marine.
