Holotype: SOU 1801001. Paratypes: DOS, NSMT, SOU. Plus additional non-type material. •Valid as Rhodeus cyanorostris Li, Liao & Arai 2020 -- (Li et al. 2020:337 [ref. 37574], Guo 2021:312 [ref. 38617]). Current status: Valid as Rhodeus cyanorostris Li, Liao & Arai 2020. Acheilognathidae. Distribution: Bai-Tiao River drainage, Yangtze River basin, Sichuan Province, China. Habitat: freshwater.
