Holotype: RIA1 LC.05.08.001. Paratypes: RIA1 LC.05.08.002-6 (5). •Valid as Mastacembelus binhluensis Vu, Nguyen & Nguyen 2019 -- (Endruweit 2024:107 [ref. 41040]). Current status: Valid as Mastacembelus binhluensis Vu, Nguyen & Nguyen 2019. Mastacembelidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Nâm Na drainage, Sông Dà basin, Lai Châu Province, northern Vietnam. Habitat: freshwater.
