Holotype: SAIAB 186684. Paratypes: SAIAB 186674 (4). •Valid as Serranochromis cacuchi Stauffer, Bills & Skelton 2021. Current status: Valid as Serranochromis cacuchi Stauffer, Bills & Skelton 2021. Cichlidae: Pseudocrenilabrinae. Distribution: Southwestern Africa: Cuchi-Cubango (Okavango) River system, Angola. Habitat: freshwater.
