Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean, western Pacific: Aru Islands and southern New Guinea (Indonesia), Papua New Guinea, and Torres Strait, Cape York and Gulf of Carpentaria/Queensland (Australia). Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
