Current status: Valid as Garra jaldhakaensis Kosygin, Shangningam, Singh & Das 2021. Cyprinidae: Labeoninae. Distribution: South Asia: Brahmaputra River basin, West Bengal and Uttarkhand, India. Habitat: freshwater.
