Paratypes: (35) AUM, FMNH, MUSM, ROM, UFRGS. •Valid as Cetopsorhamdia hidalgoi Faustino-Fuster & Souza 2021 -- (Meza-Vargas et al. 2021:24 [ref. 39298], Chuctaya et al. 2022:41 [ref. 42137]). Current status: Valid as Cetopsorhamdia hidalgoi Faustino-Fuster & Souza 2021. Heptapteridae: Heptapterinae. Distribution: South America: upper Amazon River basin (Peru, Ecuador and Colombia; ?Bolivia, ?Brazil). Habitat: freshwater.
