Paratypes: FSJF, IMNRF-UT, VMFC. •Valid as Glyptothorax hosseinpanahii Mousavi-Sabet, Eagderi, Vatandoust & Freyhof 2021 -- (Jokar et al. 2023:490 [ref. 40054]). •Synonym of Glyptothorax silviae Coad 1981 -- (Sayyadzadeh et al. 2022:18 [ref. 40438], Çiçek et al. 2024:277 [ref. 40789]). Current status: Synonym of Glyptothorax silviae Coad 1981. Sisoridae: Sisorinae. Habitat: freshwater.
