Holotype: GUIC GTI-H. Paratypes: FSJF, IMNRF-UT, VMFC. •Valid as Glyptothorax pallens Mousavi-Sabet, Eagderi, Vatandoust & Freyhof 2021 -- (Sayyadzadeh et al. 2022:2 [ref. 40438], Jokar et al. 2023:490 [ref. 40054], Jouladeh-Roudbar et al. 2023:56 [ref. 40284], Çiçek et al. 2024:276 [ref. 40789]). Current status: Valid as Glyptothorax pallens Mousavi-Sabet, Eagderi, Vatandoust & Freyhof 2021. Sisoridae: Sisorinae. Distribution: Middle East: Sirvan River drainage, Tigris basin, (Iran and ?Iraq). Habitat: freshwater.
