florenceae, Bryconops Silva-Oliveira [C.], Ota [R. P.], Sabaj [M. H.] & Rapp Py-Daniel [L. H.] 2021:3, Figs. 1-2 [Neotropical Ichthyology v. 19 (no. 4) (art. e210113); ref. 38878] Litanie River at mouth and confluence with Maroni River, just upstream from settlement of Konya Kondre, Sipalawini, Suriname, 03°17'24"N, 54°04'38"W. Holotype: ANSP 207355. Paratypes: ANSP, INPA, NZCS. •Valid as Bryconops florenceae Silva-Oliveira, Ota, Sabaj & Rapp Py-Daniel 2021 -- (Silva-Oliveira & Lima 2024:373 [ref. 40817]). Current status: Valid as Bryconops florenceae Silva-Oliveira, Ota, Sabaj & Rapp Py-Daniel 2021. Iguanodectidae. Distribution: South America: Maroni River basin (and probably Mana and Sinnamary River basins), Suriname and French Guiana. Habitat: freshwater.
