Holotype: USNM 147840. Paratype: MTUF P-20074 (1). •Synonym of Cypselurus oligolepis (Bleeker 1865), but a valid subspecies as described. Current status: Synonym of Cypselurus oligolepis (Bleeker 1865). Exocoetidae. Distribution: Indian Ocean: Persian Gulf [this subspecies]. Habitat: marine. |
