Holotype: MRAC 2019.008.P.0001. Paratypes: AMNH, MNCN, MRAC, ZSM. Plus additional non-type material. •Valid as Aphyosemion losantosi (Malumbres, Sonnenberg & van der Zee 2022). Current status: Valid as Aphyosemion losantosi (Malumbres, Sonnenberg & van der Zee 2022). Nothobranchiidae. Distribution: Westcentral Africa: central Equatorial Guinea. Habitat: freshwater.
