Norman, sex not given; but name emended to normanae in a subsequent paper by Whitehead himself. That change is not a mandatory one (not included in Art. 32), and it appears to be an incorrect subsequent spelling. •Valid as Microthrissa normani Whitehead 1986 -- (Gourène & Teugels 1988:362 [ref. 16242] as normanae, Poll & Gosse 1995:127 [ref. 24781]). •Synonym of Pellonula leonensis Boulenger 1916, with species spelled normanae -- (Lévêque et al. 1989:114 [ref. 26480], Paugy et al. 1990:336 [ref. 26477], Gourène & Teugels in Lévêque et al. 1990:105 [ref. 21589], Gourène & Teugels 1990:151 [ref. 16771], Lévèque et al. 1991:138 [ref. 31367], Gourène & Teugels 1991:220 [ref. 20013], Munroe 2016:1732 [ref. 34560]).
