sakaryaensis, Oxynoemacheilus Turan [D.], Aksu [S.] & Kalayci [G.] 2023:442, Figs. 1-2 [Zoosystematics and Evolution v. 99 (no. 2); ref. 40533] Stream Kirmir 3 km north of Güdül, a tributary of Sakarya River, Ankara Province, Turkey, 40.236°N, 32.606°E. Holotype: FFR 15629. Paratypes: FFR. •Possible synonym of Oxynoemacheilus simavicus (Balik & Bănărescu 1978) -- (Freyhof & Jouladeh-Roudbar 2024:179 [ref. 40751]). •Valid as Oxynoemacheilus sakaryaensis Turan, Aksu & Kalayci 2023 -- (Çiçek et al. 2023:352 [ref. 40625], Çiçek et al. 2024:87 [ref. 40789]). Current status: Valid as Oxynoemacheilus sakaryaensis Turan, Aksu & Kalayci 2023. Nemacheilidae. Distribution: Asia Minor: Sakarya River drainage, western Anatolia (Turkey). Habitat: freshwater.
