Current status: Valid as Cynoglossus glotta Fricke, Golani & Appelbaum-Golani 2023. Cynoglossidae: Cynoglossinae. Distribution: Red Sea: Dahlak Archipelago (Eritrea) endemic. IUCN (2026): Not Assessed. Habitat: marine.
