Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:302 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Malapterurus minjiriya Sagua 1987 -- (Poll & Gosse 1995:89 [ref. 24781], Burgess & Finley 1996:165 [ref. 22901], Roberts 2000:8 [ref. 24300], Norris 2002:97 [ref. 27470], Ferraris 2007:302 [ref. 29155]). •Mention -- (Seegers et al. 2003:38 [ref. 28087]). Current status: Valid as Malapterurus minjiriya Sagua 1987. Malapteruridae. Distribution: West-central Africa. Habitat: freshwater.
