Holotype: SNHM 6545. Paratypes: BFU 7498-7499 (2), SNHM 6546-6547 (2). •Valid as Rhinogobius gladius (Endruweit 2024). Current status: Valid as Rhinogobius gladius (Endruweit 2024). Oxudercidae: Gobionellinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Hongshuie River at Lingyun County, Pearl River basin, Guangxi Province, China. Habitat: freshwater.
