Paratypes: FFR 15656 (34), 15657 (21). Plus additional non-type material. •Valid as Oxynoemacheilus kottelati Turan, Aksu, Güçlü & Kalayci 2024 -- (Kaya et al. 2025:18 [ref. 42689]). Current status: Valid as Oxynoemacheilus kottelati Turan, Aksu, Güçlü & Kalayci 2024. Nemacheilidae. Distribution: Asia Minor: Havran and Karinca stream drainages, northern Aegean Sea basin, Balikesir Province (Turkey). Habitat: freshwater.
