Congo, 02°48'17.3"S, 18°11'08.0"E. Holotype: AMNH 278139 [ex AMCC 284823]. Paratypes: AMNH, AUM, MRAC, ROM, ZSM. Plus additional non-type material. •Valid as Parauchenoglanis stiassnyae Modimo, Bernt, Monsembula Iyaba, Mbimbi & Liyandja 2024 -- (Sithole et al. 2024:28 [ref. 41677]). Current status: Valid as Parauchenoglanis stiassnyae Modimo, Bernt, Monsembula Iyaba, Mbimbi & Liyandja 2024. Auchenoglanididae. Distribution: Central Africa: Mfimi-Lukenie River drainage, lower Congo River basin, Democratic Republic of Congo. Habitat: freshwater.
