Paratypes: CNGZNU. •Valid as Oreonectes yuedongensis Luo, Lan, Xiao & Zhou 2024 -- (Liao et al. 2025:1771 [ref. 42360], Chen et al. 2025:372 [ref. 42475], Chen et al. 2026:127 [ref. 42754]). Current status: Valid as Oreonectes yuedongensis Luo, Lan, Xiao & Zhou 2024. Nemacheilidae. Distribution: East Asia: streams in Lianhua Mountains, Pearl River basin, Guangdong Province, China. Habitat: freshwater.
