Holotype: CIUA 7702. Paratypes: CIUA, MNHN. •Valid as Fluviphylax rubens Huber 2025. Current status: Valid as Fluviphylax rubens Huber 2025. Fluviphylacidae. Distribution: South America: upper Río Negro, Venezuela and Colombia. Habitat: freshwater.
