Paratypes: (87) SIO, UAM, UW. •Valid as Allinectes istiophorus Orr 2025 -- (Schmitter-Soto et al. 2025:suppl. Tab. 1, p. 35 [ref. 42574]). Current status: Valid as Allinectes istiophorus Orr 2025. Liparidae. Distribution: North Pacific: Aleutian Islands, Bering Sea (U.S.A.). IUCN (2025): Not Assessed. Habitat: marine.
