xingshanensis, Nemachilus Yang [G.-R.] & Xie [C.-X.] 1983:314 [316], Fig. 1 [Acta Zootaxonomica Sinica v. 8 (no. 3); ref. 8262] Xiangqi River, tributary of Chanjiang River, Xingshan County, western Hubei Province, China. Holotype: HACW 81-8-09. Paratypes: HACW 81-8-07 (1), 81-8-08 (1). Additional material: HACW uncat. (30). Original genus is correctly Nemacheilus. English description on p. 316. •Synonym of Triplophysa bleekeri (Sauvage & Dabry de Thiersant 1874) -- (Zhu 1989:109 [ref. 17744] as xingshangensis, Wu & Wu 1992:189 [ref. 21205], Chen & Zhang in Chen 1998:78 [ref. 23556]). •Valid as Triplophysa xingshanensis (Yang & Xie 1983) -- (Prokofiev 2001:194 [ref. 26613], Prokofiev 2007:7 [ref. 28990], Prokofiev 2010:895 [ref. 31096], Kottelat 2012:133 [ref. 32367]). Current status: Valid as Triplophysa xingshanensis (Yang & Xie 1983). Nemacheilidae. Distribution: China. Habitat: freshwater.
