mamshuqa, Garra Krupp [F.] 1983:599, Figs. 25-27, 29 [Fauna of Saudi Arabia v. 5; ref. 8320] Wadi Hadhramut, Qasam area, Yemen, about 16°10'N, 49°04'E. Holotype: BMNH 1976.4.7.380. Paratypes: BMNH 1976.4.7.374-376 (3), 1976.4.7.381-387 (7). •Valid as Garra mamshuqa Krupp 1983 -- (Krupp & Budd 2009:120 [ref. 30148], Lyon et al. 2016:81 [ref. 34670] as mamshuqua, Freyhof et al. 2020:168 [ref. 37658], Esmaeili & Hamidan 2023:210 [ref. 40377], Çiçek et al. 2024:121 [ref. 40789]). Current status: Valid as Garra mamshuqa Krupp 1983. Cyprinidae: Labeoninae. Distribution: Middle East: Wadi Hadhramut drainage (Yemen). Habitat: freshwater.
