C.] 1983:9, Figs. 3, 7, 59-60 [Bulletin of the American Museum of Natural History v. 176 (art. 1); ref. 5386] Off Rangoon, Myanmar, 15°04'N, 95°51'E, depth 29-33 meters. Holotype (unique): USNM 202672. Type catalog: Howe & Springer 1993:5 [ref. 21812]. Chioscyllium is neuter, therefore change to burmense. •Valid as Chiloscyllium burmense Dingerkus & DeFino 1983 (often seen as burmensis) -- (Compagno 1999:476 [ref. 25589], Goto 2001:82 [ref. 25912], Compagno 2001:168 [ref. 26323], Weigmann 2016:8 [ref. 34211] as burmensis, Psomadakis et al. 2020:165 [ref. 37272] as burmensis). Current status: Valid as Chiloscyllium burmense Dingerkus & DeFino 1983. Hemiscylliidae. Distribution: Northeastern Indian Ocean: Myanmar endemic. Habitat: marine.
